Default Too Much Bling

My neighbor drives up with this beautiful 03 regen....lifted, 22"tires, back seat, heavy mud tires, chrome plating...wouldn't pull a light chain.I lifted the seat..all stock with cheap batteries. I'm going to put t175's with 4ga. wire and 700 amp ge controller. Any suggestions where to get the motor? Solenoid? Thanks

I don't know what T-175s are, could you have meant T-105?
Before you summarily discard the batteries, a load test/hydrometer test may be in order.
If this is a 36v cart, consider a 48v upgrade.
Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, a 400 amp controller with 4ga cables is usually sufficient.
If you do the conversion you may be able to use the existing motor for years.

A 2003 Regen CC cart would have been 48v = T-875 A good 8v battery when healthy

Thanks for the reminder Scotty. I guess since it was posted in the CC section I should have figured it out.
