Disconnecting Batteries in what order?
Going to pull 4 - 12 volt batteries out of CC Precedent, and was unsure if there is a proper order to disconnect these?
Thanks OT |

Re: Disconnecting Batteries in what order?
not to my knowledge... you are breaking the circuit no matter which connection you remove first.
i personally start/finish at either the beginning or end of the string to avoid confusion. |

Re: Disconnecting Batteries in what order?
Use the manufacture's recommendation....
Run/Tow switch to tow. Then disconnect the main negative. |

Place tow/run switch to the tow position before disconnecting or connecting any battery cables. Then disconnect main black negative cable on battery #4 (closest battery to passenger side chair). After that, their is no specific order in which to disconnect the four. I would disconnect neg side first before removing positive on each battery. |

Re: Disconnecting Batteries in what order?
When I took mine out for cleaning I marked each battery and cable like 1 cable---- 1 battery post and so on. This would insure that you have them hooked the same as they were. Sure makes it easy when you know you have them hooked up correct....Frank
