Attachment 41384Just picked up a 36 volt, 1991 Club Car up off Craigslist for $225... Been looking for a cart for a while to build a Hunting Cart. Found a good deal I think. Stripped it down and installed an 8" Buggies A-Arm lift.. Thats the only mod I have done so far.... I am looking for any and all suggestions on:wheel/tire combos, 48 volt conversion, wire replacement.. Just asking for help on what you would not do again/purchase if you had to do it over.. I am looking to put a winch on the front... looking for ideas on a brush guard winch mount combo.. thanks for your help

With an 8" lift I imagine you are wanting to run some pretty big tires... I would suggest the 48v conversion.

Thanks Scotty, I am planning on 23" tires and a 48v conversion. I have searched and can't find a thread detailing the 48v conversion. What all is needed for this? It is a 91 with v glide and coils. Any help is much appreciated.

You can keep the F&R switch and the motor, everything else has to get upgraded
you need a potentiometer, Curtis PB-6 or 16, I like a 480 amp controller and 200/600 amp solenoid kit.... You will need to fab a potentiometer mount and gas peddle connection.
