2004 cc ds oses complete power while on accellorator
Your cart still has some "issues", and if you just put $850 into it, it
is probably better to try and rsolve them now rather than when you next renter gets here. The cart works just fine most of the time. Then out of the blue it will just lose power and come to a compete stop when your foot remains on the accelerator. If you lift up on the accelerator and press it down again it takes off running again. It is as if an electronic brake kicks in and wants to stop the cart. It happens rarely (once per day), but if someone where following close, they might run into us. The other item is the PARK brake often (30-40% of time) does not want to engage unless the cart is rolling when applied. If the cart has come to a complete stop it often will not allow the park brake to be set. "that was the emailhe sent to owner of cart" i put new batteries in cart and rear brakes any ideas this guy is being a huge pain in my a... thanx in advanced iknow someone can help me |

What kind of vehicle are we talking about here? 36Volt or 48Volt IQ?

If it the 48 Volt IQ model it sounds like you need a new MCOR to me. Pretty easy to change on the DS model. The MCOR is the little black box attached to the accelerator rod/linkage w/ (2) plugs attached to it.

Very possible that it's an Mcor problem. Could also be a solenoid dropping out

JUst had the same problem on a 99 CC gas and it was the F/R switch out of adjustment. Adjusted it and has been running fine since. Just Food For Thought?
