Default Advantage of Wire Size...

Have a 2007 CC 48v 09 batteries Precedent with power turned up to three and everything else is stock. If I changed the wire size from 6 to 4 would there be enough change to do this and if so what could I expect to see....Thanks Frank

Up-sizing cables and other improvements like that are all aimed at getting a better amperage flow / delivery to the motor. Bigger cables do help. But like a chain, the system is only as strong as the smallest link. In order for the motor to be able to draw more amperage from the battery pack you will need larger cable and a bigger controller, solenoid, and F&R assembly.
Good luck with your upgrades

Just as a thought, ( IF ) you have 12 volt batterys you might think about upgrade to 8 volt batterys to extend your range and life especially if they are original ones?
Example T-1275 Trojan battery is 150 amp hour rated, while T-875 Trojan battery is 170 amp hour rated.

To answer your orig question... the change from 6-4g in a stock cart does not make a difference you can feel from the driver' seat except maybe on the biggest hills... you will get more torque. It is the sum of all the components that make the upgrade and cables are a good place to start making the improvements. Scotty
