if you discharge the batterie only 10% it will last 5500 cycles if you discharge 100% it last 750 cycles is the way I read the chart.

You need to charge for 12 to 14 hours let set for 12 hours and then test. Use the volt meter and get a hydrometer from the auto parts they are about $10. It is a very helpful tool when checking batteries.

If your charger has an amp gage it should start out high and as the batteries charge it should come down. You can also while it is charging check the pack voltage. Check from the first positive to the last negative. This should be above 36 volts while charging. I do not know what the proper voltage for full charge on a 36 volt cart put someone will help out soon.

38.20 is a 100% full charge on a 36v pack

This year I have finally found a digital in-dash voltmeter that gives real times digital voltage readings to make true state of charge readings meaningful... there is no doubt that proper use of the golf cart batteries extends their useful life many times verses old acceptable abuse.

Or, as Scotty would recommend, get a GASSER! Sorry, had to shed some cheer on a bad situation. I did the same thing with my Resistor controlled Cushman, and melted a connection behind the wiper, an Alum strap. Replaced with 10 ga solid copper, and it ran like a champ. Good luck with your Spark Mobile!
