Default Battery advice for expat worker

All, I work overseas and am gone 6 weeks at a time. Should I leave my charger hooked up and cart set in tow position? I just installed new Trojan batteries (4-12v) in my 2008 Precedent. Thanks for the advice.

If your prone to power outages I wouldn't. If your batts need to be charged and theres no power to the charger the relay in the charger will stay on and pull down the pack. If your power is pretty stable it should be ok. 6 weeks isnt really that long though.

Thanks Roady..Was also wondering about the water level and if it would remain ok. After paying for the new batteries I sure don't wanna mess them up!!

For just 6 weeks water should not be an issue if they are filled to the bottom of the well when you leave. If you are consistently leaving the cart for 4-6 weeks at a time, your best bet is a charger with a float or maintenance mode...
