Without numbers off controller I'm only guessing but should be around 225-250 amps?

OK, Thanks, I will try to find the numbers.

Would an Alltrax DCX300 IQ controller improve speed/torque? How much?

If you are using your cart for hunting I would recommend a 400 amp unit. The 300 amp will not give you much advantage over the stock controller you have now.

Thanks, Doug.
I have another cart that I use for hunting, but I found a DCX 300 amp controlller for $100, and was wandering if it would be worth it.

I don't think you'll get any real advantage over the stock controller but if you're looking for a spare, $100 is a good price.

I replaced the stock controller in my 2006 EZ GO PDS with an Alltrax DCX500 and the results are dramatic! It will jerk your head back on the line and has very strong, smooth acceleration throughout the range.
I ride in an area with sandy trails and the stock controller would routinely shut off during our rides. The Alltrax has never shut off and the performance is astoundingl
