2001 CC DS crawls going up steep inclines
I have a 2001 Club Car DS 36v with resistors. The cart slows to a crawl going on steep inclines. Terminals are clean, cart runs normal on straight aways and also does not run out of battery doing 18. New charge or after 18 is same.

Re: 2001 CC DS crawls going up steep inclines
Have you checked batterys for condition? Has this been going on for some trime or just starting? Battery cells going bad will amke this problem worse so do Hydrometer ( single float temperature correcting scale NOT MULTI FLOAT ANTIFEEZE UNIT and do test on each cell and record, and also do a digital volt meter test on each battery and then whole pack and record and then compare readings to STICKIES "State Of Charge Readings" All electric carts run slow on hills and especially with 36 volts and resistors instead of 48 volts and solid state.
