Default 07 CC Pres Lift

When lifting a 07 CC Pres with a 6" lift kit what will have to be done to the rear of the cart to lift it? Will the rear lift come with the kit?

Thanks in advance, new to carts

Is it a fairly simple installation? Thanks in advance for the help.

What size tires would you recommend using everything stock besides the lift & tires? Will be using at golf course or done the street, nothing off road.

If you are installing the 6" lift your front will be fine, but on the rear 23" tires may be an issue on this. Someone else will chime in on this. Disconnect your batteries before the lift of the rear, your motor could rotate forward and cause problems, better safe then sorry. Also use blocks and floor jack to help you along. Good luck take pics.

Thanks losthusker, I will wait to get other info and make my decision. Don't want to buy tires that will give problems would rather be on the safe side.

I believe the 23" tires will fit on a rear of a president cart, but I believe you need to have heavy duty rear springs on them to make sure they clear the rear fenders, just wait though someone will chime in on this.

Be careful when doing the rear lift. Because of the motor, the axle will want to rotate forward. Keeping that from rotating is the only hard part. I installed the 6 inch Jakes lift and put on 23 inch tires. I also installed heavy duty rear springs at the same time.

Replace the left brake cable with a longer one, (just order the factory Right Side Brake Cable.) Otherwise you'll have pulsation issues and brake lockups galore. 23's aren't a problem... I have 22's and a 5" lift with HD springs and you can tell by the pictures in my signature you've got tons of room

I would go ahead and get the HD leafsprings for the back. I had a leafspring get bent pretty bad on the back end last weekend when my son hit a tree in reverse, and if you are putting a lift kit on chances are your are going to have to take the back springs off anyway so just go ahead and do this all at once. Also if you decide to put a back seat on later you are going to need the HD leafsprings. I wish I would have done it all at the same time.

Work on one leaf spring/side at a time. Keeps you from chasing the axle around.
