Not able to read energy units with IQ Communication Display
Hi guys, new to everything. I live in Jamaica and recently took over servicing club cars for a local golf course.
I have tried using the IQ Communication Display unit to determine performance levels for about 50 carts. They are 2008 DS Golf Cars. Only 3 give a reading. Apparently this has never been done in the almost 3 years they had the carts. Is there something simple that I am missing or should do to get a reading from the rest of the carts. The unit seems to be working since I get readings from 3 carts. Can anyone suggest why I can't get a reading from the other carts. Thanks |

Re: Not able to read energy units with IQ Communication Display
You need to contact Tahoe DawgZ71 as he works with the new carts and factory test equipment all the time. Please be patient as he works 6 days a week and trys and spend time with his family when off.

Re: Not able to read energy units with IQ Communication Display
I work for the local golf course near home and we use this scanner each month to keep the usage on our cart batteries even. Sometimes when the meter won't read I have to move it closer to the battery light, sometimes the computer is hibernating and the ignition switch has to be turned on, put the cart in gear and mash the go pedal for a moment to wake it all up. If the batteries in the CDM are weak it won't read either, it will just blink a line of dashes. If it won't read at all, the problem may lie in the battery light. Check the function of it by the tech manual. Gene Davis
