It has 2 amp/12v and 40 amp/12v and engine start

Should the car be in the run/tow switch be on run or tow with the charger on it?

It doesn't matter...either way. Put it on 40 for an hour then put on 2 and check in the morning.

What about the run/tow switch should it be in the run possition or the tow position while it's charging?

It doesn't matter. But if it'll make you feel better put it in tow mode. And turn the key OFF so nothing freaky happens while your asleep.

From reading this post, I think WEIT may have his meter plugged in wrong. He was asking in post where to plug into meter with probes(not battery end probe, but meter end plug, he said there were 3 holes). I can't give him advice on that but maybe one of ya'll can. Good luck with cart.

Howdy mike, He showed us a pic of the meter with the leads plugged in correct.....I can't believe we got 5 pages of " check your batteries" I am burnt...
