How do i adjust the parking brake?????

I have a 98 DS. Occaisionally you have to press the parking brake a few times to get it to hold. I'm hoping it's out of adjustment. Can anyone give me a quick education??

GLEEMO

There is a toothed , rotating assembly which has a return spring on the bottom of the brake. When U press the parking brake one of the teeth is supposed to lock into place.
The spring returns the ratcheted tooth from the locking mech. and U'r ready to go.

Make sure on the bottom that the the locking park tooth is aligning with its counter part. If it has too much play or wobble , it could miss the ratchet.
