how do i speed up my 2007 club Car precedent

i picked up a 2007 club car and although it is fully charged and takes off very quickly after 20 feet or so it goes very slow, how do i change the speed?

How fast do you want to go? There are 4 speed setting you need the CC dealer to set the speed code. You can also go with a Plum Quik motor for about $225.00 with exchange motor. They are a sponsor of this sight.

need a hand held unit for a curtis controller high speed is 19 19.5 need the code off the controller and possibly dealer pasword to unlock the high speed. i think the fastest you can go without the code is 14 its airport speed

they have them set for 14mph. you can get a speed kit from a dealer for around $100. Dealer has to install it. The cart will go 19mph after kit.
