Default 2001 Club 48V batteries discharged

I have 8 fairly new batteries that are not charged and my charger will not kick on. Went to store and purchased Volt/ohm meter and reading .23 volts.
Cart sat in Destin from August up until last week. There was virtullay no H20 in the batteries and filled them up with water. Suggestions on how to get a charge in the batteries??

Just sitting like that with no H2O will kill the batteries if they do come up it will be a lot of work and time only to disappoint with short or no run time due to in ability to hold much of a charge; Get new ones and put this problem behind you. Welcome to BGW!

If they are that discharged you may either have to just the solenoid in the charger or charge them with a automotive type charger. Im not positive on the voltage but you need around 40 volts to kick the charger on. There is a good possibility that they are toast but it is worth a try.

Yep U need 36 Volts to get the charger to come on so , roughly U need to get them up to 6 volts each. Use car charger set on lowest setting and keep a very close check on them, U may have to charge several times to get up to the point where the cart charger will take over.

PS; they will settle about 10%-15% in 24 hours after charger is removed.
Slow slow is the name of the game or spend $600 on new ones

You can modify the charger by bypassing the sensor relay so it's instant on as you soon as you apply power, this will charge all batteries at once, monitoring them till they get to the 36-38 volt range with your volt meter and then undo the bypass and let the charger work as normal... It's pretty easy and WAY quicker, but if you are not comfortable with electricity or opening the charger then I would recommend the 12v approach.

Not a good Idea , better to try and keep all batteries at the same voltage ,
U can Use the 12 Volt car charger to charge 2 at a time , just to get the Voltage up to the point where the cart charger will come on .
Use distilled water (ONLY) to refill.

Or do what cheep J suggest and temporally bypass OBC.

PS I should mention this takes less than 10 mins to do and you'll have everything charging.
