Weird Charger question
So I bought a cart with a charger all used. The charger wouldn't click on when I plugged it in. Batteries must be shot. Well I went to a friends house. He has 2 Club Cars. I plugged my charger in and got no response. He plugs his charger in and got no response. He plugged in his second charger and got no response. So then he pulled in his 2nd cart and plugged in his charger and it works. Did I fry something in his 1st cart with my charger? We all have 48 volt carts and my charger looks exactly the same as one of his.

Re: Weird Charger question
We need to know the year of all three carts. First 2 # in the serial # are the year. A9985767 ... is a 1999
It is possible but not likely.... |

Re: Weird Charger question
If your charger has a dead short it could blow the fuse in the other cart but that is not a common problem. What is the voltage reading of your battery pack which the charger will not come on for?
