Easiest Install for Radio/Ipod and Speakers
I just purchased my first golf cart (2007 EZ-GO TXT). I am painting it red and putting on some of my favorite teams decals (I won't mention the team in fear of retaliation).
I want to put in AM/FM Radio with connection to Ipod and 2 speakers. What is the opinion of everyone? Should I buy one of those radio/speaker/mount kits OR just get a radio I like and a set of speakers and go for it? Keep in mind I have never installed a radio, speakers, anything. I know nothing of batteries, or wires, or electrical. I have read countless blogs and done hours of research on each install. Are those mount kits for under the roof any good? Is it hard to cut holes in the dash and mount a marine radio? Is it hard to cut holes elsewhere and mount speakers? Am I getting in over my head? Any advice, instruction, and/or pictures would be appreciated. Please be gentle, this is my first post. I have been dreaming about owning a golf cart since I was a boy. Thanks, |
