Default removing steering wheel

hey Guys, I have a club car 2006 DS.
How does the steering wheel come off, once the nut is removed,I did not want to start tapping the wheel from underneath,as I can get a little heavy handed.

ALWAYS put nut back on flush ( after removing washer ) with end of shaft to protect threads you can get pretty hefty with hammer. I use a piece of brass rod stock to again protect threads. I take slack out of column by either using blocks against dash frame work or put feet on dash and push back with knees toward you works most of the time?
If all else fails take whole steering column and wheel off and with it set in a piece of pipe over column you have much better force to free wheel.
