sometimes runs and sometimes it does not
I have a 2005 electric club car and new at all this. When i press the accelerator either in forward or reverse sometimes i dont hear the clicking sound and the cart does not move. Other times i hear the click and it runs fine. Occasionally even when ridding along it also just shuts down and stopes. I just keep pressing on and off the gas until it goes. Please help, I have no idea.

Sounds like your solenoid is not connecting internally all the time ( very common ) clicking sound is solenoid closing.

Check, clean and tighten all batteries, cable and connectors.
If it still does it then then check the large cables going to the Solenoid, F&R ... etc. Before tightening any motor connections Use 2 wrenches to keep lug from spinning. Post full model number here ! |
