04 Club Car DS power loss
I have a 2004 Club Car DS with 2004 Trojan batteries. I'm new to all of this so be easy on me here. I perform routine maintenance on the batteries (adding distilled water monthly, cleaning connections, checking wiring, etc . . .) Recently I noticed the cart not performing as well after a short period of time. I figured since the batteries were almost 7 years old that could be the problem but after checking them on the meter they are all between 7.8 and 8.1V after a charge and full pack right at 48V. Even after riding for about 15 minutes I still get the same readings. However, the cart will just hardly move uphill anymore after a full charge and riding for about 5 minutes. Could this be any other issue other than worn batteries? If so, how come I get the meter readings I've been getting?
