2. is everything stock (ie. no lift, no back seat, no upgrades to electronic components)
3. what fuses blew
4. what were you doing whenthe fuses blew

I'm kind of new to this myself but I'll help as much as I can. Somebody more knowledgable will come along soon. You said won't go did the fuses blow again? When you push the pedal do you here the solenoid click? If you try in reverse does the warning buzzer sound? These are all things that can give the forum clues as to what may be the problem.

Did you replace the resistor and diode when you replaced the solenoid. Also is the polarity of the diode correct. When I put the HD solenoid in my cart, I put the diode on backwards and it would not go.

Not having a diode should not keep cart from going, it would just be bad for the controller. The resistor and the diode are both important. The resistor prolongs the life of the soleniod by eliminating arcing of the contacts. The Diode does the following: "DIODE is a protection device across the contactor coil. The contactor coil is a magnetic device. When the contactor is turned off, the magnetic field collapses causing a “voltage spike” that can damage the controller. The diode safely clamps this energy." Thats from an Alltrax controller document.
I would strongly recommend getting a diode before proceeding, controllers are expensive.

This brings me back to my earlier question, "does the solenoid click when you press the gas?". You never said. You said that you jumped the solenoid and the cart goes, but never wether it makes a click when the gas is pushed. If it works jumped and does not make a click if not jumped then either the solenoid is bad (yes it is possible to get a bad one right out of the box, there are a lot of cheep chinese ones out there) or the activation circuit is wired wrong.
