Default New Batteries

When you install a brand new pack, do you charge first or ride a little to let them get a little weak to take a charge?

New batteries are only charged completely when YOU CHARGE THEM, no matter WHAT the seller says.

A little time waiting for charger to finish the first charge, isnt it worth the extended life of new batterys?
Never allow them below 75%-80% until pack is at full power TROJAN says 50-100 cycles.

New batteries need to be conditioned.
Scottyb has a great webpage on how to condition new batteries. Worth checking out.
