'96 48v cc click, wont go!
Hi Guys,
*I have been around a while doing a lot of reading, and learning a lot from other posts. *However, I am no able to find any solution to my current problem. *I was driving my cart for two hours non stop here at Puerto Rico, it was a hot weather, I would say about 99 degrees out there, the cart was running so far, very good, good speed. *All the sudden it stopped by it self, still have charge on the batteries, but wouldn't move. *I could hear the clicking from the solenoid every time I pressed the pedal with the key switch on, *but no luck. I have a '96 48v CC, I did the battery readings and they are 55.8v full pack, all wires are clean and good contact. *F/R switch us under the leg at the center of the panel, is not a switch f/r. *I have replaced the solenoid thinking it was a bad solenoid, and still hear the *clicking noise when pressing the pedal, but wont go. *I have tried jumpering the two big poles from the solenoid, and the cart jacked up, but still the wheels wont spin. * *The only clicking I hear when pressing the pedal is from the solenoid. *What could be causing my cart to not run? PS: forgiveness for my bad english... *lol |

Your English is better than some hillbilly's Well, check all the cable connections with a tug and twist... with a voltmeter check that the F&R switch is putting power out? IF power is getting to the controller. Then you have to suspect the controller or motor?

Also do you have a micro switch under the gas pedal? or does it have the pie shaped wiper switch under the charging receptacle?
