Gaminde,.. First I want to thank you for being the originator of such an outstanding device. Now I want to ask you what happened to the original pictures and schematics that you posted. They are no longer included in the display so I guess they have been removed from your album. This information would really be helpful since there are now over 12 pages of comments and the facts are getting lost and confused. The prototype pictures of the device and the circuit board would really be a help. What did you finally use to encapsulate the circuit board. The original link to your picture at BGW no longer works.

I also want to thank the many contributors who have refind and improved this design and those who have provided links and parts identification. You guys/gals rock.

would u say that the magnet would take you to club car speed 4
that is about 19.5 miles an hr

what was your speed before the magnet mod

what tire size do you have on your cart

Just trying to decide on what im going to do

my tire size is 23 inch

club car mod in my area to speed 4 is $100 19.5mph

magnet shipped to canada would be about $70 ????

i am at code 2 0r 3

Cart is a standard Precedent set up to golf with speed 3 - 14.4 mph, standard tire size. On the plants on pavement the magnet seemed to give a couple of MPH but any hills drops the speed down. I will test it against a Precedent set to code 4 and see what the differance in performance is.

I located this electrical plug on my '08 Precedent motor. Would I use this to connect a speedylink?

Tested performance on two carts-

2006 precedent code 4 from dealer, 205/50 10 tires that measure 17.5".
2008 precedent code 3 (14.4 mph before magnet) standard tires that measure 17.5 inches.
Test was done on paved road - up hill stretch then down hill.

2006 code 4 - uphill stretch that was 504 ft. 0-17.1 mph - downhill it took 430 ft to hit 19.8 mph. Turned around and built up to 16.5 up hill then quickly went to 19.8 downhill.

2008 code 3 with magnet - uphill 504 ft 0-14.8 - down hill it hit 18.2 in 450 ft. Turned around averaged 14-14.4 mph up the hill and downhill built up to 18.2.

The code 4 seems to have more torque and gets to speed quicker. Also the regen braking works with code 4 but not the magnet.

I think it is worth getting the code 4 programed in.
