Front Turn Signals 1997 CC DS 36v
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am adding turn signals to my 97 CC DS 36V. The headlights already work and have amber side lights without any bulb or wiring. I pulled the sidelights out. They have a rubber plug that can be pulled out exposing the inside of the assembly. The opening has 2 notches for either the rubber plug or maybe a new light bulb holder?
I would like to know what bulb and socket are intended to fit this assembly. I am unclear since the rubber plug looks like it can be drilled for wires but can find no information on how this is intended to be rigged. Thanks in advance....... |

Tom, thanks....I found that 194 bulb. What do you mean by "its the rubber 2 wire plug you need to get right"? Do I have to fabricate from the rubber plug that's already in there or is there some rubber plug harness made for this?

Excellent...thanks Tom, that is very helpful. I would love to hear from anyone that may know a part number/supplier for the socket that goes into the rubber plug.

Re: Front Turn Signals 1997 CC DS 36v
the socket dosn,t go into the rubber do-dad it will replace it.........that rubber do-dad thats in there now is just like a dirt cover to keep dirt and water out of the lens when you get the socket it will push in and twist the same way...........i,ll try and find part #,s for you but you should be able to take that rubber plug to a auto parts store and tell them you need a 2 wire elec socket that looks like the rubber cover or fits like it............your new socket will be white and made of a harder rubber or plastic.........................
