Automatic Battery Watering Systems

What is the best automatic watering system for six Trojan 8-volt batteries in a Club Car?

If I understand it correctly the Trojan watering system is made by Flow-rite and if that is correct then the only other system would be a Pro-fill system.
In my opinion if this system saves one battery it should easily pay for itself over time.

Speaking of where is the best place to purchase a system? Does the Trojan system come with the hand pump bulb included or do you have to purchase it separately?

In the case of just using a watering bottle to fill the batteries I know that they are a lot cheaper. My concern is that battery acid can easily blind you if it gets in your eyes so I don't think it is worth taking a chance to save money in this situation. I work in the medical field and one of the worst injuries I see are eye injuries in my opinion.

i've read that one (possibly both) of the systems does not seal as well as the factory caps resulting in a lot more electrolyte / water loss.

the auto-fill will not save your batteries unless you are just lazy and would otherwise not fill them manually. i see it as adding 24 potential points of failure (ie: faulty valve) that will never get inspected.

checking my batteries takes all of about 3 minutes. i wear nitrile gloves & safety glasses (well, sometimes). open the caps slowly and fill with your favorite battery filler. don't check the batteries while they're boiling / charging as this is when they are under the most pressure.
