intermitten accelleration
I have an issue with a 2002 DS club car REgen. when everything is cool the first ride of the day (20-30min)the cart acts normal. You start out for a second ride the cart starts to accelerate then stops you let off the pedal and press again it starts to go again for a very short distance were you have to let off the pedal and step on it again and again it will go a short distance. you can keep this up letting off and pressing to make it go but you soon give up. Have check connections all look good. Any help would would be appreciated.

Re: intermitten accelleration
It's dead..... Your bad batteries can't withstand a load for more than 20-30 minutes.

Re: intermitten accelleration
Thanks for your reply. I do not believe it is the batteries they test out 48+ volts and are all most brand new. The power is there when you step on the pedal but just for 3 seconds and it is like the contactor releases and then you let off and press again it goes.

Re: intermitten accelleration
at 48 Volts they are essentially dead http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-readings.html
Get a digital volt meter, place cart on charger and leave it there until charger cuts Off wait 4-8 hours , measure each battery and across entire pack then post results here |

Re: intermitten accelleration
I appreciate your replies about the batteries. The thing is the cart will continue all day even up hills if you release and step on the pedal again, it is like some turns of a switch when you depress the pedal. Before the issue the cart was used a lot to walk the dog which gave the on off of speed pedal a lot of work.
the cart is stock |

Re: intermitten accelleration
May not be all the batteries. Maybe 1 or 2. Charge it up man, check the pack, repost.
