Modified Precedent Pedal Sensitivity
Now that I have the charging issue resolved, I need some help with the "gas pedal". I have a modified motor, F/R, wires, etc that produce around 35mph on GPS with two people riding. Now my problem is that the accelerator pedal is very ultra sensitive meaning that just barley a touch and the cart wants to go and starts jumping around. There is also very little speed choices between 0 and full. One slip of the foot and its full speed ahead. I was wanting to know if there is some sort of device that can be either added to the pedal to creates some sort of friction to allow eaiser control or some other device making a more controlled acceleration/deceleration.

Re: Modified Precedent Pedal Sensitivity
I would check your pedal linkage for wear as so often the bearing ( bushing ) brackets that hold pedal shaft are not lubricated correctly and wear down at angle toward spring tension. It might also be that your pedal return spring got weak and allow much softer pedal action?

Re: Modified Precedent Pedal Sensitivity

Re: Modified Precedent Pedal Sensitivity
If U have a IQ cart with Factory controller,
this MAY be something inside one of the controllers parameters which could be set ? Ask your local CC dealer ? |

Re: Modified Precedent Pedal Sensitivity
You need to download the Alltrax Controller Pro software and get a USB to Serial cable. The Alltrax IQ controller that you have has two areas were can adjust the sensitivity, the throttle response where you can adjust the throttle curve, and the throttle up and down rate which determines how fast the power is applied to the system.
