1997 club carblack controller box
I have one with the black T box made by GE .... I think there should be a recall from club car for the carts that have them-- I am retired and can't aford 800 or 900 to replace it. I bought this cart in good faith because the club car has carried a good name----is there any help out there?

Re: 1997 club carblack controller box
Have you checked with forum sponsors for a Alltrax NCX300 controller to replace your 1997 CC regen controller? You might check and see if some one has a take off when cart was updated to high amp rated controller?
Im sorry to say you purchased CC 1996-2000 when they were in transition and were trying new controller ideas? SOUNDS SIMILIAR to when electricians were installing aluminum home wiring?? Maybe they should have a recall to replace all the aluminum wiring electricians installed? |

My math says the cart is 15 years old. How long of warranty do you think they should have?

Re: 1997 club carblack controller box
SCOTTYB CC GE control warentee is lots longer than I got on my brand new home ( some years ago ) wired with fire hazard aluminum wiring, which after catching fire 3 times in 3 months ( in different locations in home ) from completion cost me $15,000.00 to replace? I sued installing electrician, wire manufacturer, National Building Codes, National Electrical Codes at cost of $5000.00 and lost because courts will not give judgements against National Codes if wiring is approved at time neither manufacturer and installer regardless of fires or personal loss unless proof can be found of incorrect installation? One week after court case ended a new updated code was issued nearly eliminating aluminum wiring from residential use??
