07 Precedent, how do the seats come apart?
Just ordered seat skins from Dave at XT Innovations. I'm looking at the front seats on my cart and can't for the life of me figure out how the seats with the cushions come off of the seat frame. I don't see any screws anywhere. Are they glued down to the frames?? How do they come apart so I can put the new skins on??

Re: 07 Precedent, how do the seats come apart?
I did a search, which I should have done originally.............Looks like the seats on the Precedent are actually glued to their plastic backings and there is no wood and foam and then a stapled on cover. According to all the threads I found, this is a huge problem with these seats. I sent Dave an email and I'm gonna change from skins for the front, to complete seats. I don't need the hassle of this glue stuff and oddball seats.......Thanks!!

Re: 07 Precedent, how do the seats come apart?
That's a better idea. I have an 04 and I've been through 2 seats already. The glue they use isn't good for anything! Trying to reglue them doesn't work well unless you have a clean surface. Getting the old glue is a HUGE pain. So doing what you're doing is the best way in my opinion.

I just got off the phone with Dave. I am going with complete bolster bench seats for the front and skins for the rear. No fuss, no muss........
