Default VERY stupid Selonoid ?

My 84 CC did fry a selonoid however the good part is I have a supply house down the road in another town. Bad news is. I AM A MORON>

I am insulting myself so no further insults please, but now here is my question.
Is there a front and back to it. i took out the old one and just didnt think to mark it. so I think it can go in either way but just waant to be sure.

Thank you guys. I did look at the search and could not find it. However Roady I did poach all your great diagrams!!

Unless it has a diode on it (which direction matters) then NO , direction does not matter.

Disconnect battery pack first .
