Default Stray voltage (Club Car)

Everything is runing on the car with no issue (2004 Club Car igen)... when i put voltmeter on battery pack positive and common on chassi i get 1.75 volts.... the battery tray was cleaed with baking soda... my lights work ..i have 48 v olt to 12 volt reducer. Even when i disconnet all wires form reducer i still get 1.75 volts from battery pack to Chassis.... what is causing this thanks

Its common with "digital" meters to show some frame voltage. Most analog meters wont show that small amount. It can be caused by stray moisture or dirt, oil, on battery case. Its OK until you would get up to about 10 volts and up
