AC powered Club Car headed to Vegas
Hey all, I'm headed to Las Vegas this Thursday, not to gamble, but to demonstrate our AC drive system. If some of you are in the Las Vegas, NV area and are interested in seeing our system, please either PM me or post a message. VCTech is going to let golf cart dealers see our system, but private individuals are welcome as well. Thanks.

Re: AC powered Club Car headed to Vegas
Actually, I'm rescheduling for Tue Apr 12th if anyone would like to see our system. We're going to let dealers see it first, and if some of you would like to get a feel for our system, you're welcome. Thanks.

Re: AC powered Club Car headed to Vegas
@Gleemo & 96, our website is under construction right now, literally. It should be done in about a month. We hired a professional webpage designer recently.
Yes, the DC from the batteries is converted to AC via the inverter aka controller. +s of AC over DC: ACs can rev higher than DC no friction inside motor, i.e. no carbon brushes-->less heat generation than DC better hill climbing ability more efficient than DC because of regen-braking which can increase range by up to 30% -s of AC over DC: a little costlier; our system isn't expensive relative to our competition. |

Re: AC powered Club Car headed to Vegas
are your systems ac induction or bldc? are your controllers compatible with both types of motors?
are your controllers compatible with series motors for those who might want to make the switch over time? -sj |
