99 electric ds slow creeping
im new to the golf cart world, i have a 1999 club car ds, batteries were charged.(3 days minor riding)..grandson & i were riding all was well...i stopped had my foot on brake, then he stomped the gas twice, so when i went to take off it would barely move creeped for about 5 feet, then didnt want to go forward or backward, it would rock when pedal pressed both ways. pushed to our shop, it was pulling itself just not full throttle. put on charge just in case... went out next morning, hubby jacked it up and freely goes backward and forward. when weight on it wont go backward, and barely creeps forward. any ideas? thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to BGW! Can you tell us if the cart is electronic speed control or resistor coil cart? Resistor coils are mounted rear of the battery pack under a small heat shield ... they look like bed springs.

Also, do you have a voltmeter to check the battery pack voltage?

hubby probably does, is a "pack " a seperate item from the batterys?

Scotty...there are resistor coils...and i will get total of volts when hubby gets home...thanks
