Default I need a good start

well first off I am glad that I found this site, I have finally got a chance to purchase a club car. but I dont know the first thing about these things. so I have a couple questions. first off the numbers I found on the cart ar A9719-571090. I just picked up a set of batteries for it. but what im needing is a whole cart schematic. I seen there where a couple on a sticky up above but I'm not sure which one pertains to my cart. but if I cn get a schematic and know stuff about this cart like the year and maybe any know problems. really any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum!
I'm a noobie here too, but since you haven't gotten a reply yet; Your cart appears to be a 1997 model. I've never been able to find a comprehensive wiring diagram for my '94 cart but after working on it for a while, as far as the drive system there really isn't that much involved, in my opinion.
1. Did the cart work when you bought it? If you are going to take anything apart, take good pictures, label everything and put it back in the same place.
2. Be very careful around batteries; if you haven't ever done any welding, it will come as a big suprise if you short something - metal gets hot in a hurry, melts pretty fast, make alot of sparks and loud noises. Combine that with battery acid and it's faily dangerous. Wear Safety gear, glasses, gloves, etc.... Tape up your wenches, and don't drop anything metal on to the terminals of the batteries. I've witnessed a wrench dropping out of someones hand and it stuck between positive and negative on a battery. WOW - it glows bright red in a big hurry; luckily he had the presence of mind to kick it back off before the battery when nuclear.

Safety 1.0! Beer Drinkin and fun are 1.1!

Again, Welcome!
