I have the same problem, but all the solenoid check OK, each click in sequence when I have it jacked up. Once I get it to the ground, it goes from 0 to 60 in seconds?
Reworked the f/r switch, micro switched check out OK.
What am I missing?

You must have a solenoid stuck in closed position, I would guess #5 as it bypasses resistors and goes straight into full speed. With ohm meter see if you have a connection across large posts when cart is turned off and F&R is in neutral. I have found them stuck like this not as often as "not making connection" but even though they click the connection is always closed. If #5 is good go to others from passenger side toward drivers side. If all check out open when off then you have a wiring problem possibly in F&R wiring?
