Extra Storage Space
I just bought a lifted 2008.5+ Club Car Precedent with a rear flip flop seat. I plan on using my cart for hunting so I am looking at the best way to get the most storage. My plans so far include a 3 door dash cover and an underseat tray. I have a couple of questions and looking for some additional ideas.
Does the underseat storage tray trap too much heat? Is it okay for riding, but should I remove it while charging my batteries? Secondly, has anyone every created an extra storage shelf between the rear part of the cart where you set your clubs and the battery compartment above the engine and axle? There seems to be a lot of extra, wasted space there that could be utilized. I have a couple of concerns. Would creating a shelf/compartment in that empty space affect the cooling of the motor? I am considering either putting a spare tire in that area or creating a compartment to hold an auxillary 12 volt battery. Thanks, Thomas |

Re: Extra Storage Space
You can also do something with the bag-well in the back. Some guys mount a plastic-tote,tool-box,or cooler.

Re: Extra Storage Space
They make top tray's that fit on top of the cart to hold stuff.
They make basket's that fit around the dash in front of the windsheild and inside. |
