Just ReBuilt My Charger
Well, after a few weeks of problems charging my cart (2000 48V Carryall) I decided go ahead & rebuild the charger (PowerDrive Model # 17930) including diodes, breaker & relay. Still won't kick on *BUT* now at least when its plugged into the cart, the cart will not move when put in forward. Before the charger rebuild the cart would move plugged in or not. So my point is, I'm 99 percent sure this is the way its supposed to be but the cart still won't take a charge or turn the charger on. Is this the dreaded OBC finally gone bad? Any input before I bite the bullet would certainly be appreciated!

Re: Just ReBuilt My Charger
doc the answer from me is i would say yes its the OBC...........how many times have we seen it hear......now you can try the OBC reset it may work it may not but if your charger isn,t working and your charge receptical and fuse and grey wire are good than go ahead and bite it, if you can borrow a known good charger and try it or try your charger on another cart that would confirm it.....................
