Question Speedometer install

'98 Club Car. Trying to install Schwinn digital speedometer. Having trouble figuring out where and how to mount sensor. Also where on wheel to mount magnet.

Do you have pics of the sensor and magnet?

I think that the pictures of the wheel, the little round magnet (.5" dia) and the sensor (1.25" long) should come through. We'll see!

Forgot to mention: the magnet has to be installed on the wheel somewhere and the sensor has to be mounted so that it is about 1 mm from the magnet each time the magnet passes by it.

Here is what i did just last night. Have not tied down wiring yet.

Cannot tell from your pics if you can connect the same or not.
I used some J-B Weld. Hope it works.

I had to spice in some extra length of wire to get it to reach the dash.

That's similar to what I have in mind but think that I may have to dream up some kind of and extension with the sensor glue to it in order to get it close enough to the magnet.
Thanks.

Problem solved. If anyone needs pictures of how I did it I'll try to reply.
$9.99 speedometer and a little JB Weld.
