Exclamation Motor wires.. all the same?

Does anyone know if the s1,s2,a1,a2 do the same thing on all makes of carts? My cart is ezgo and the axle i put in is a club car. I dont want to fry anything.

Yes but you still may have to swap wires cause the direction may be different. Different gearing etc.

ok i read somewhere you can get more speed by switching a few two. is this true? could you explain what s1,s2,a1,a2 actually do. i dont understand the series motor. i tried to figure it out with a multimeter but i dont understand the concept yet.

Not sure what you read but No, thats not true. The S terminals are the FIELD, (do the same thing as magnets in a little DC motor) The A's are the armature (like in a small DC motor) When you switch the field wires you change the polarity of the field thus changing the motors direction. Normally this is done via the F/R switch. If the motor is going reverse fom normal you just swap the S's around.
