Default Re: electrical charge

Did The OBC reset yesterday. By passed OBC as per stickies to trouble shoot and plugged in charger.
Initially went up to 13amps than came down to 4-5 amps. Plan to leave it there for a couple of hours than undo bypass. Drive the cart for a while and try charge again without OBC bypassed. My thought process is if it does not charge than it is a bad OBC.
Your thoughts Tom
Thanks
Gil

First if U are a electric cart owner , GET a digital Volt meter ( A MUST HAVE )

if the charger is off, leave it for 2 hours so batteries to cool,
check water levels 1/4 - 1/2 inch above plates.
Fill only as needed with distilled water.
Then unplug the charger for 10 minutes then plug it back in .

Have volt meter. Also Specif gravity guage. All check and test good.
Batteries not the problem. Cart ran fine last night with no light show. When I have some free time today I will try and run it again
Should I reset the OBC one more time before attempting a normal charge

Just got back from 45min ride plus last night 30 min ride. Resetting OBC and getting ready to try charger again.
Also have speed question.
Cleaned the speed controller and checked throttle linkage. Looks like full travel
It is a 89 club ds Villager
here are the speed I got. Are they normal
steep uphill 7mph
gradual uphill 9mph
slight uphill 11mph
level ground 13 mph
slight down hill 15 mph
down hill 25 mph
Again thanks for all the help
Ill post charger findings soon

Reset OBC
Plugged charger in and in paused for approx 2 seconds than went to 15 amps: paused for second back down to 0amps: paused for a second and back up to 15 amps.
It worked itself down to approx 12 to 13 amps over 25 minutes than shut off.

I believe we have confirmed a bad OBC
your thoughts please
Purchase price of the cart was reasonable so I guess a new set of batteries and a new OBC is not uncommon
Thanks
