Default 2004 DS charging issue

When I plug in the charger it "clicks" and the needle moves slightly to the right but returns to zero. I have checked the charger on another cart and it appears to be working properly.

The cart holds a minimum charge over a period of 2-3 weeks and will run for a short period of time before slowing to a crawl. After a rest period, the cart will again run for a short period of time.

Any suggestions?

Reset the OBC first, by disconnect the main negative battery terminal. Leave it for about 20 seconds and then reconnect it. Turn key on a press gas pedal once to reactive the OBC. Then try to charge again, if same problem, OBC is most likely bad.

GET a digital Volt meter First , ( A Must Have) all sparky owners need a digital
volt meter.

Check the voltage on all batteries and post results here.
Charger should always be connected to cart when not in use ".".

Thank you for the quick responses. I will reset the OBC as well as the voltage on all the batteries and see if I can locate the issue.
