Had my '97 weighed last to get street legal. Weighed in at 760#s with that new PQ Motor and a rear seat.

Street legal, what does that mean...do you have to title and tag it like a car?

Street legal. Yes that means a title, VIN, tag, insurance and you can drive it on the road...... well some roads. It depends on your state and munincipality. Each one has its own rules regarding minimum equipment (lights, turn signals, windshield material, seat belts, etc.) and cart speed. I found some helpful info on the Plum Quick website (it might be in their forum). I'm almost ready to take my latest cart project to my dmv for inspection. My state (FL) has a weird and hard to compy with requirement that you have ALL the reciepts for everything not original on the cart. That's hard to comply with unless you buy a cart from a dealer, then buy everything else retail and keep real good records.
