'07 C.C. Precedent...12" wheels compatible
I just purchased a 2007 Precedent and I want to put a set of 12" chrome wheels with low pro tires on it without raising or making any mods. Seems everywhere I look they are saying that I will have to make some modifications to a Precedent to get the wheels that I want to fit. There are only a few wheels out there that Im seeing that say "Will fit Precedent". Has anyone put a set of 12" wheels on their Precedent without making changes and if so what kind? Im looking at the 12" 8-spoke spiders in chrome or the ITP SS212. Thanks!

Welcome!!!! I have a set of 12" ITP wheels on my Precedent but it also has six inches of lift, I never tried a larger wheel with the stock suspension.

Re: '07 C.C. Precedent...12" wheels compatible
I ended up with 12" wheels on a 6" lift as well. But I thought about doing larger wheels with street style tires on the stock suspension. If you can find a set of tires that fit the wheels and the outside diameter is the same or very little more than the stock tires, it really wouldn't matter how big the wheels are.

Re: '07 C.C. Precedent...12" wheels compatible
Thanks, Im going looking this weekend for a set of wheels. Ive just been told to run 12 inch wheels at stock height I have to find wheels with a 5+2 or 4+3 offset and there arent many out there like that. Ill keep looking, if anyone out there has a stock height Precedent with 12's let me know how it worked.

I was told you may only have to trim some of the plastic inner fender ...

Yea, thats what Im getting so far....If it only rubs a little while making sharp turns I may be willing to deal with that. I just dont want them to rub at all times

Re: '07 C.C. Precedent...12" wheels compatible
thanks for the link, i checked out the site...lots of nice wheels and tires but still saying "may" rub on a precedent. I may just buy the 12" ITP SS212 in chrome with a 205-30 tire and hope they work if not I guess I will have to get to work on a fix.
