Default Charger Cord Extension?

I'm looking at an idea of placing my Powerdrive charger on a shelf in my barn semi-permanantly. What I'd have to do, though, is run the charger cord thru the wall out to the cart. The power cord is not long enough, however. Is there any way of extending this? I'm not talking about he a/c cord that plugs into the house power, I'm talking about the cord that plugs intro the cart itself. FWIW, its a 2000 CC DS w/Powerdrive charger. TIA!

You can get longer cords as OEM Replacements. Check with your site sponsors or a Club Car dealer.

depending on which side you need to extend (outside or inside), you might be able to use the factory cable as-is. disconnect the cable connections on the inside of the charger, mount a junction box outside & use the new wire between the charger and box. this will give you a secure, weather-tight home for your splice.

12ft of 12awg will give you roughly .2V of voltage drop @ 10A. 10awg will give you roughly .1V. either wire should do fine.

if the stock cable still isn't long enough, you can get just the plug for a reasonable price here.
