Precedent 6X8 Conversion?
I have an 08 precedent with the 4X12 setup with the old battery bucket with the divider in the middle. I have a chance to swap it for another 08 that has the newer style bucket that will hold the 6-8's. If I do this can I buy 6-8's with a new set of batter cables and be ready to run? I noticed the conversion kit comes with a 4.0 OBC? Do you have to have this?

Why do you want to get away from the 4-12s?

Re: Precedent 6X8 Conversion?
You can't run as long on 4-12's and they cost more than 6-8's to replace! I can get 6 US 8V's for $585 or 4 US 12's for $628 out the door.

What!? Wow... I need to move to Texas.. Never, ever, ever, EVER, have I heard of a set of 12's being more expensive than a set of 8's... Consider yourself lucky those 8Vs are so cheap..... Our "DEALER" cost on those 8's is more than you're paying for a set, and we're 1/4 mile from the US Battery factory.
