There's evidently been some heat related issues for MCOR failures.

What I didn't realize until I isntalled the new one is that the cart was a little jumpy when starting out and I couldn't really just creep along. That was the MCOR as well. Now it works like it should. Hope this helps.
I'm actually having the same problem with mine. Believe it or not I was driving the cart about a month ago and one of the Trojan battery terminals exploded on me. Sounded like a shotgun went off underneath the seat. Scared the **** out of me. Lol. But after going through the trails last week my '04 Precedent started jerking on take off but only when barely depressing the accelerator. I'm guessing it's the MCOR also? How much did yours cost? And did you install it yourself?

YOu can do it yourself, not very hard at all. Just take out the floormat and there's 4 bolts holding in the accelerator brake pedal assembly to get to the MCOR. Pretty straight forward. I ordered the part over the internet and got it for about $140 shipped. It pays to shop around.
