Default Rebuild Help!!!!!!!!

OK guys, I am getting down to the wiring and am totally lost! This is a 95 DS Regen 1, 48V that I am converting to a series (36V series motor) with NO OBC. It also had 2 solenoids and a coil spring and now it will have 1 solenoid and no coil, right?

1. First off, I have installed the new MCOR kit and got the 3 pin plug hooked up to the old wire harness. Now, there is a 6 pin plug with nowhere to go. Is this only used in carts with the V-glide? If so, just tape it off?

2. I have taken off the old controller, can I use the heatsink that the old controller is glued to for my new Alltrax NPX4844? Do I need to buy a new one?

3. What to do with this giant mess of wires that was plugged into the old controller? Should cut the plug off and use only the wirer needed for a series setup? I have a ton of extra wires.

4.These 4 wires were plugged into the F/R toggle switch which is being replaced with a HD F/R lever. The wires are orange, Black, white and red/white. Where do they go?

This will get me started,

Thanks!

Personally I would tear every wire out of that cart and install a simple little 6 wire / 13 cable Series system.

Just go to alltrax and download the diagram for that control and wire the cart accordingly.

Is the controller programmed to talk to the MCOR?

Yes, the controller is set up for the MCOR. So I guess the 6-pin plug is only used in a V-Glide setup? Just tape it off?

Yes, the controller is setup for the MCOR. The 6-pin plug off the MCOR harness is only for the V-Glide setup right? Just tape it off? I don't know where to start! I know you guys will help me get it there.

Man.... you need a series wire harness. It's so much easier than trying to trace this mess of wire out and make it work. Not to mention you'll have perfectly soldered joints and all the wire colors will match up for future repairs.. I'll PM you my phone number and we'll talk about it... I could go on and on and on about trying to convert this wire harness to work. Yes, it's possible, but it's not worth it, as the only thing you'll be re-using from it are a few small wires that can be bought at lowes for less than 10 bucks. Expect a PM...

EDIT: The wire harness I'd suggest is a 102162101. It's for a 2002 DS Car with a series motor/controller and an MCOR. Yes, it's pre-wired for OBC but that's easily removed.

MAn, that would be easy but that simple wire harness is $221.00! I will call you.
