Default 86 Club Car 36v Battery Charging Question

After sitting here until my butt started getting sore, going through the posts I found with the search function, I still haven't found an answer to a question I have about the batteries in the Club Car I'm getting later this week.

The former owner has let the cart sit for a while without charging the batteries due to removing the cables to use on another cart.

My 12v Auto battery charger has a desulfate setting on it and I was wondering if anyone has tried using the setting to renue their batteries before? (after making sure the batteries have the correct amount of electrolite of course)

I'm also going to have to use the 12v charger to recharge my batteries two at a time until I can find a good charger that I can afford.

Is there any brand of golf cart charger that works best on the Club Car brand, or as long as the voltage is 36v will any brand golf work as well as the next one?

Yeah they are pretty much the same ~ Lester is the standard of the 36v charger industry You can not go wrong with a good old 25amp Lester.

Cool, thanks for the info.

I'll get a Lester if I can, if not I'll get what I can and upgrade to a Lester when I can.

Thanks again,
