Question Battery Installation

Can anyone help me troubleshoot my Battery connections on my 2003 Club Car?
One of my Employees changed out the batteries and now the Charger gets really hot and doesn't seem to be reducing the draw over time. I had it charging for about 8 hours but the gharger got so hot I had to disconnect it.

Not sure weather the cables are correctly connected. I am having some trouble finding out which battery system It has. It has 6 six volt batteries so I will assume it is a 36 Volt system. It has a switch under the seat for Tow/ Run and all the diagrams I am guessing is that it would be a IQ system.

Help would be appreciated.

Did the original batterys have 4 distilled water fill holes ( 8 volt batterys ) or 3 distilled water fill holes ( 6 volt batterys )?
Does the cart have a F&R lever ( Series motor ) under right leg, or F&R rocker type switch ( IQ )
